The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses sympathy of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the government and people of the brotherly Republic of Sudan over the collapse of a gold mine in the state of Kordofan in the west of the country, killing dozens of workers.

The Ministry prays to Almighty God to bless the casualties with mercy and forgiveness and grant their families patience and solace.
