MARKET UPDATE: Oil Prices drop to $72.99 per barrel in early morning trading

As the global market continues to record much volatility, many crude oil prices dropped significantly Monday morning.
A survey of the global oil market by The Daily, www.thedaily-ng.com, showed that the prices of Brent and WTI that hovered at $74 and $70 per barrel, weekend, dropped to $72.99 and $68.30 per barrel respectively.
The current prices are below the 2023 budget benchmarks of many members of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC.
