A Danish Training Tall Ship DANMARK has contacted wooden piles and then docked brand new US littoral combat ship USS MINNEAPOLIS ST. PAUL LCS 21) at Baltimore Inner Harbor, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “Danish Training Tall Ship DANMARK contacted wooden piles and then docked brand new US littoral combat ship USS MINNEAPOLIS ST. PAUL LCS 21) shortly after 1100 LT Sep 11 at Baltimore Inner Harbor, while being towed out of port.

“Both ships reportedly, sustained minor damages. Tall ship was towed from inner harbor and anchored in Baltimore harbor, Patapsco River, remained at anchor as of 2345 LT Sep 11. Tall ship is bound for New York after taking part in Maryland Fleet Week festivities in Baltimore.”
