A Product tanker ATA VOYAGER has experienced a fire at Kucukcekmese anchorage, Istanbul, Marmara Sea, at around 0430 UTC May 18, 2023, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “Product tanker ATA VOYAGER arrived at Kucukcekmese anchorage, Istanbul, Marmara Sea, at around 0430 UTC May 18, from Aliagai Turkey.

“At around 1915 UTC May 18 tanker reported fire in the engine room, tugs and aux boats responded.

“As of 0455 UTC May 19, the fire was said to be under control, with tugs and aux boats remaining at her side, AIS was on. No damages reported, crew probably, remained on board.”
