By Our Correspondent       Bulk carrier PHILIPP OLDENDORFF has drifted onto anchored bulk carrier SSI PROVIDENCE at Ahirkapi Anchorage in Istanbul, in the evening August 5, 2022, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “SSI PROVIDENCE was receiving supplies at that moment, supply boat could be crashed between two big ships, but escaped, thanks to quick respond.

“Bulk carrier PHILIPP OLDENDORFF arrived from Kerch Strait Russia, understood in load. SSI PROVIDENCE arrived from Haifa, she’s bound for Burgas Bulgaria.

“As of 0450 UTC Aug 6, both ships remained in the same position, anchored. Extent of damages unknown, cause of PHILIPP OLDENDORFF going out of control unknown.”
