A Bulk carrier LEROS I is stuck in Venezuela since early January this year, 18 crew including 13 Russians and five Indonesians, are supposed to prepare the ship for planned repairs and sale, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “No wages paid, no supplies, no food – for a long time. The ship’s agent’s behavior is strange and unexplainable, he is doing nothing to assist the crew. All calls to local authorities, the Russian consulate and ITF didn’t bring in any response. The crew is desperate.

“I’ve received the message from Vladivostok, Russia, obviously the native city for at least several seamen on board of LEROS I. I have Captain’s phone and WhatsApp number. Anyone concerned and able to assist, welcome.”
