A Southbound general cargo ship YALIKOY ran aground off Gelibolu, northern Dardanelles, on August 27, 2022 while entering the Strait, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “Southbound general cargo ship YALIKOY ran aground off Gelibolu, northern Dardanelles, on August 27, 2022 while entering the Strait.

“The ship is en route from Ukraine (Danube, Izmail most probably) to Greece, she’s in load, grain or wheat, no doubt. Canakkale Traffic Control tug responded. Ship’s AIS off radars since August 25, 2022.”
