A fire erupted on bulk carrier EPIC, in cargo hold with some 8,000 tons of metal scrap, at around 1830 LT September 2 2022, at Petit-Couronne (Seine-Maritime), Rouen, France, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “Fire erupted on bulk carrier EPIC, in cargo hold with some 8,000 tons of metal scrap, at around 1830 LT Sep 2, at Petit-Couronne (Seine-Maritime), Rouen, France.
“Forty engines and 70 firefighters, plus tug, were deployed, fire was taken under control by the morning Sep 3, but fire wasn’t yet extinguished, firefighting continued well into the morning.”
