It stated: “General cargo ship EVER WIN developed stb 30 deg list in rough weather some 40 nm E of Yangtze estuary on Nov 30, issued distress signal and requested rescue. Shanghai MRCC sent SAR ship and helicopter, all 12 crew were rescued, and all are safe.

“Latest updates on ship indicate she’s still afloat, drifting, SAR ship monitoring. Understood she was en route to Kaohsiung.”
