A Container ship GSL ELENI left Vancouver on December 28, 2022, bound for Yokohama, but her rudder stuck in portside position when she was already in the open, passing Juan de Fuca Strait, on December 29, 2022, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “The disabled ship was towed to Victoria from December 31 – Jan 1, to undergo repairs. 6 tugs were deployed. As of morning Jan 3, GSL ELENI remained berthed at Victoria.”
