A fire erupted on board bulk carrier STERLING FREIA, docked at Muuga Port, Estonia, in the afternoon of December 15, 2022, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “The fire started in the superstructure, it was extinguished in an hour and a half, 5 engines were deployed.

“The fire was caused by an electric shortcut in faulty wiring. The bulk carrier arrived at Muuga on Dec 8, understood to load or offload grain.”
