The NNPC Limited said it concluded plans to stop crude oil swap contracts with traders as it plans pay cash for petrol imports, according to Reuters.
 
Meanwhile, the National President of IPMAN, Elder Chinedu Okoronkwo, said his members will likely import the product in the coming months.
Also, the Chief Executive Officer/ES, Clement Isong, Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, said: “The government has taken the bold step. We are currently studying the market for the purpose of embarking on importation.”
