COVID-19: Confirmed cases rise to 205, 484 in Nigeria

The confirmed cases of coronavirus pandemic have risen to 205, 484 in Nigeria, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
It stated: “A multi-sectoral national emergency operations center (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
“On the 29th of September 2021, 437 new confirmed cases and 6 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
“Till date, 205484 cases have been confirmed, 193482 cases have been discharged and 2701 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.”
It added: “The 437 new cases are reported from 18 states- Lagos (126), Rivers (76), Kwara (44), FCT (37), Edo (32), Kaduna (30), Anambra (22), Delta (22), Osun (12), Benue (7), Abia (6), Nasarawa (6), Kano (5), Ekiti (3), Plateau (3), Bayelsa (2), Ogun (2), and Oyo (2).”
