COVID-19: Confirmed cases rise to 191,805 in Nigeria

The confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic have risen to 191,805 in Nigeria, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
It stated: “On the 30th of August 2021, 460 new confirmed cases and 1 death were recorded in Nigeria.
“Till date, 191805 cases have been confirmed, 178492 cases have been discharged and 2455 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“The 460 new cases are reported from 14 states- Rivers (164), Lagos (139), Edo (61), FCT (37), Bayelsa (20), Oyo (14), Plateau (7), Ogun (6), Anambra (4), Benue (4), Enugu (2), Cross River (1), and Kaduna (1)’
“Multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities.”
