COVID-19: Confirmed cases rise to 167,155 in Nigeria

 

The confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic have risen to 167,155 in Nigeria, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.

It stated: “On the 18th of June 2021, 13 new confirmed cases were recorded in Nigeria. To date, 167155 cases have been confirmed, 163540 cases have been discharged and 2117 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

“The 13 new cases are reported from 3 states- Delta (9), Gombe (2), and Rivers (2). A multi-sectoral national emergency operations center (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities.”
