The confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic have risen to 192,431 in Nigeria, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “On the 31st of August 2021, 626 new confirmed cases and 14 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.

“Till date, 192431 cases have been confirmed, 178759 cases have been discharged and 2469 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

“The 626 new cases are reported from 10 states- Lagos (334), Rivers (134), Oyo (60), FCT (41), Osun (20), Plateau (14), Ogun (9), Ekiti (7), Kwara (6), and Benue (1).”

It added: “A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities.”
