COVID-19: Confirmed cases now 167,732 in Nigeria

The confirmed cases of coronavirus pandemic has risen to 167,732 in Nigeria, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
It stated: “On the 2nd of July 2021, 40 new confirmed cases were recorded in Nigeria. Till date, 167732 cases have been confirmed, 164369 cases have been discharged and 2121 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.”
It added: “The 40 new cases are reported from 10 states. A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
