The confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria have risen to 171,324, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.

It stated: “On the 26th of July 2021, 213 new confirmed cases and 2 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.

“Till date, 171324 cases have been confirmed, 164798 cases have been discharged and 2134 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

“The 213 new cases are reported from 12 states- Lagos (157), Rivers (20), Plateau (12), Enugu (6), Oyo (6), Gombe (3), Bauchi(2), Imo (2), Kaduna (2) Edo (1), Ekiti (1) and Ogun (1).

“Multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continue to coordinate the national response activities.”
