Bulk carrier OZGUR AKSOY contacted the lock head of Zandvliet Lock, Antwerp, at around 2120 UTC on January 3, 2023 while leaving Antwerp, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “Ship sustained undefined damages, serious enough to take bulk carrier back to Antwerp, for inspection and probably, repairs. The bulk carrier remained berthed in Antwerp as of 1700 UTC on January 4, 2023. She’s bound for La Rochelle, France. The lock is understood to sustain slight damages, remains operable, and traffic wasn’t suspended.”
