JUST IN: Resign to contest 2023 elections — President Buhari warns ministers, others

The President, Muhammadu Buhari has ordered members of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, who has the ambition to resign on or before May 16, 2022, and concentrate on contesting the 2023 general elections.
Already, serving ministers, who have collected nomination forms are Ministers of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio; Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige; Science, Technology and Innovation, Ogbonnaya Onu, Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba and Justice and Attorney General, Abubakar Malami.
This and other issues were disclosed by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, at the end of FEC meeting in Abuja, Nigeria.
