MARITIME: Accidents drop 6.3% to 311 cases in four months

The global maritime accidents have dropped marginally to 311cases in the first four months (January – April) of 2022, from 332 cases, recorded in the corresponding period of 2021, indicating a fall of 6.3 percent.

A breakdown showed that 90, 77, 69 and seven cases, were recorded in January, February, March and April, 2022, respectively, while 78, 76, 82 and 87 cases, were recorded in the corresponding periods of 2021.
