The Secretary-General underscored in his remarks the key role of the ECB, highlighting the technical expertise and extensive knowledge that the Board’s Members bring to the Organization.
“We have covered an enormous amount of material and have had both productive and insightful discussions on the wide variety of issues that make up the majority of the content for this year’s WOO,” Barkindo stated during the final day of the meeting.
In conclusion, the Secretary-General stated: “The teamwork that has been on display through our common efforts to conduct the highest quality research and publish it in the WOO is impressive, and this has enabled us to achieve uncommon results.”
The annual OPEC World Oil Outlook (WOO), which began in 2007, is in its 15th edition and continues to be the key reference outlook for policymakers, corporate chieftains, scholars, analysts, and the media.
Today’s session of the 21st Special ECB Meeting followed an opening session that was held on Tuesday, 7 September 2021.
