NERC’s Electricity Essay Challenge Opens May 24, 2021

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC’s Annual Essay Competition opens on May 24, 2021, according to the Commission.

In a message obtained by The Daily, www.thedaily-ng.com, NERC, stated: “This competition is open to ONLY SS2 students in Nigeria. Interested SS2 students should write an essay of not less than 450 words and not more than 500 words, on the topic “Electricity Theft and its implications for the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI)”.

It stated:  “Fantastic prizes to be won by: First Position, Second Position, and Third Position. And lots of consolation prizes for other participants too!.”

The Commission also added: “Submission opens on 24th May 2021 and closes on 18th June 2021. All entries should be sent by email to: electricitychallenge@nerc.gov.ng OR Hard copies sent to: Consumer Affairs Division Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission NERC HOUSE, PLOT 1387 CADASTRAL ZONE, A00 CBD. Behind BOA House, Abuja. Remember all submissions must contain the name of the student, FULL home and school addresses, and contact phone number.”
