OPEC Secretary-General congratulates Professor Bordoff of Columbia University on his new assignment

The Secretary-General, Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, HE -HE Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, has congratulated Professor Jason Bordoff, Founding Director of the Center on Global Energy Policy, on his new role as Co-Founding Dean of the Columbia Climate School.

In a statement obtained by The Daily, www.thedaily-ng.com, OPEC, stated: “HE Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, OPEC Secretary General, in a letter extended his congratulations to Professor Jason Bordoff, Founding Director of the Center on Global Energy Policy, on his new role as Co-Founding Dean of the Columbia Climate School.

The Secretary General said: “This is an exciting new opportunity for your good self and for Columbia University, and it comes at a pivotal moment in our history as the world continues to undergo a complete energy paradigm shift.”

He also added: “Through this new venture, Columbia University is clearly dedicated to staying ahead of the curve and at the vanguard of climate studies and research.”
