NIGER: Households, businesses grappling with poor power supply — Investigation

Many households and businesses have been stalled as a result of poor electricity supply in Niger, currently under military rule.
The supply of 150 megawatts, MW of electricity, MW of electricity to Niger from Nigeria was disconnected by the President Bola Tinubu-led administration in early August 2023 as part of efforts by the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, to restore democracy in that nation.
