As Nigerians continue to pass through very difficult times characterised by shortage of Naira and petrol, the First Bank of Nigeria, FBN, has expressed commitment to assisting customers to meet their financial needs.

In a message to its customers, the bank, stated: “We know these are challenging times and our commitment to support you does not waver.
“We will keep our doors open and have greatly increased capacity across all our electronic platforms.

“Being prudent, however, should we observe skirmishes around certain locations, we may have to temporarily shut our doors as we also take the safety and welfare of our staff seriously.

“We want to think we are together and here to find and provide solutions. Unfortunately, those attacking bank branches only make it more difficult for us to do our part in resolving the challenges we collectively face.

“To our numerous customers who are conducting transactions seamlessly on our alternative channels, we say thank you for trusting us. Do continue to share the word and encourage friends and family to take advantage of the various channels we offer.
“USSD – Our *894# code is another avenue for transactions even without data. Dial the code now.
“FirstMobile App – Download the FirstMobile app and enjoy seamless transactions anywhere.
“Firstmonie Wallet – All monie is now on Firstmonie. Download the Firstmonie app or dial *894*1# for your convenient everyday transactions.
“NQR – Send and receive payment with your NQR code. Just Scan-Pay-Go. Everyone needs a QR code today; send an email to QRandUSSDBUSINESS@firstbanknigeria.com to get yours!”
It added: “You can count on us to put You First today and always.”
