MPC: Again, CBN postpones meeting

Again, the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has postponed the meeting of its monetary policy committee, MPC, despite the surge in inflation.

The meeting was scheduled to be held on Monday and Tuesday, but postponed for a second time since Olayemi Cardoso became governor of Nigeria’s apex financial institution.

Local and foreign stakeholders, especially investors and financiers, are worried and waiting to know the government approach to tackling inflation, which hit the roofs 27.33 per cent in October 2023.
