A Car carrier DON QUIJOTE broke off her moorings in the evening of July 9, 2023, in strong gusty wind, in Bremerhaven, according to FleetMon.
It stated: “Car carrier DON QUIJOTE broke off her moorings in the evening July 9, 2023, in strong gusty wind, in Bremerhaven, drifted across the basin and contacted Lloyd Werft pier, knocking off gantry crane and inflicting other damages, estimated as substantial.
“The ship was later taken under control and returned to her berth.”
