A Russian general cargo ship EVOLUTION 8 struck berthed chemical tanker GOLDEN CREATION at around 2000 Seoul time in Korea, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “Russian general cargo ship EVOLUTION 8 struck berthed chemical tanker GOLDEN CREATION at around 2000 Seoul time August 18, 2022, at Gamcheon, Busan, Korea, while shifting berths. Both ships were damaged in stern area.

“Russian Captain of EVOLUTION 8 was tested and found to be intoxicated. As of Aug 19, both ships remained berthed at Gamcheon harbor.”
