Inland cargo ship SOUTHFORD bridge was destroyed after she struck the bridge in Scheldt-Rhine Canal near Rilland, Zeeland in Netherlands, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “Inland cargo ship SOUTHFORD bridge was destroyed after she struck the bridge in Scheldt-Rhine Canal near Rilland, Zeeland, Netherlands, in the evening August 17, 2022.

“Why skipper mistook the height of his ship, and bridge’s elevation, is not yet known. Nobody was injured, bridge sustained minor damages.”
