MARITIME ACCIDENT: Combination gas tanker disabled off Orkneys

A combination gas tanker INEOS INTREPID suffered engine failure late Jul 30 north of Orkney Islands, while en route from Rafnes Norway to the USA, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “Disabled ship drifted until early morning August 1, 2023, when she was taken on tow by offshore tug IEVOLI BLACK (IMO 9439242) and towed to Lerwick, where she arrived in the evening same day.”
