A Cargo ship with a cargo of fertilizer has been distressed in Vietnamese waters, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “Cargo ship with a cargo of fertilizer distressed in Vietnamese waters
General cargo ship XUYEN A 126 issued a distress signal early in the morning Mar 10, reporting sinking due to hull water ingress.
“The ship with 2600 tons of fertilizer was en route from Can Tho to Quy Nhon. Not clear if all crew was evacuated. The ship was boarded by the rescue team and brought to anchor 0.5 nm off the coast of Binh Thuan Provines, north of Vung Tau.”
