A brand new ONE New Panamax container ship, ONE AMAZON, reportedly ran aground while entering Itajai Port, Brazil, at around 0830 LT November 7, 2022, during her maiden voyage, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “The ship’s deployed on SX1 Service, ONE – Korea, China, Singapore, Latin America.

“Giant ship reportedly was entering port in low tide and contacted a sandbar in turning point area, but was quickly refloated by assisting tugs, and safely reached Itajaí and Navegantes Port Complex. ONE AMAZON left Itajai at night Nov 7, bound for Santos.”
