Ro-ro cargo ship TROPIC TIDE, May 15, 2021, gone out of control while proceeding to berth at Paramaribo, Suriname, and collided with another ship.
According to FleetMon, “Ro-ro cargo ship TROPIC TIDE in the morning May 15, 2021, went out of control while proceeding to berth at Paramaribo, Suriname, and collided with berthed ship LAWRENCE XXX (not identified).
“Both ships understood to sustain damages. TROPIC TIDE arrived from Guyana with Trinidad being her next call. As of morning May 16, 2021 the ship remained berthed at Paramaribo.”
