The Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, and its allies, known as OPEC+, has slashed Nigeria’s oil quota to 1.826 million barrels per day, mb/d in October, from 1.83mb/d in September 2022.
The action, which aims at enabling OPEC+ to realise stability in the market was taken at the just-concluded meeting of OPEC and non-OPEC ministers.
However, it also affected the quota of other members, expected to comply from October 2022.
