How cargo ships collide at Taganrog in Russia

Sister General Cargo ships owned by the same company collided at Taganrog Port, Russia, Azov sea, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “Sister General Cargo ships owned by the same company collided at Taganrog Port, Russia, Azov sea.

“General cargo ship SV KNYAZ VLADIMIR went out of control while proceeding to berth, and struck berthed general cargo ship RUSICH 6, at around 1130 Moscow time July 7, 2021.

“RUSICH 6 hull was breached in portside cargo holds area. The extent of damages under assessment, investigation underway. Both ships remain at Taganrog port, as of July 8, 2021.”
