Grounded RoRO Car Carrier Ferry rescued in Marmara Sea

 

Both the coasts of Turkey and the coasts of other countries have been witnessing the successful rescue operations of “stranded ships” for a while, according to FleetMon.

He made an emergency request, “KIYEM 3” emergency response boat from Tuzla and “RESCUE 7” port tugboat from Haydarpaşa were immediately sent to the relevant ship by KEGM [General Directorate of Coastal Safety].

In the event that there was no loss of life, property, or the risk of marine pollution. The rescue efforts of the stranded ship, which has been waiting for weeks off the coast of Pendik and Tuzla.

The vessel departed from Southampton (United Kingdom) on January 30, 2021. As of today, the ship is still aground.
