Disabled container ship towed to Rhodes in Greece

Container ship CONTSHIP FUN has suffered a mechanical failure on March 1, 2021, in the Aegean sea northwest of Rhodes Island, Greece, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “Container ship CONTSHIP FUN suffered a mechanical failure on March 1, 2021, in Aegean sea northwest of Rhodes Island, Greece, and was towed to Rhodes port anchorage, northern Rhodes.

“She was anchored there in the afternoon Mar 3, as of 0400 UTC Mar 4 she was still at anchor. The ship is en route from Thessaloniki to Port Said.”
