COVID-19: Confirmed cases hit 216,451 in Nigeria — NCDC

The confirmed cases of coronavirus pandemic cases have risen to 216,451 in Nigeria, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.

It stated: “On the 10th of December 2021, 533 new confirmed cases were recorded in Nigeria. To date, 216451 cases have been confirmed, 207661 cases have been discharged and 2981 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

“The 533 new cases are reported from 11 States-Lagos (428), FCT (45), Rivers (33), Edo (9), Ogun (8), Oyo (3), Delta (2), Kaduna (2), Gombe (1), Jigawa (1) and Kano (1).

“A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities.”
