Container on fire after explosion in Vietnam

FlletMon has disclosed that Container caught fire after an explosion in Vietnam, in the afternoon of September 4, 2021.
It stated: “Container caught fire after explosion in the cargo hold of container ship MORNING VINAFCO, docked at Ben Nghe, Ho Chin Minh, Vietnam, in the afternoon Sep 4. explosion and ensuing fire were probably, caused by sparks from welding works carried out in the vicinity of the container.”
It added: “Fire was extinguished in about half an hour by firefighting teams, which arrived at the scene shortly after a fire alert. No injures reported.”
