Cargo ship disabled in Kiel Canal, taken back to Kiel

 

 TOWN was disabled in Kiel Canal shortly after he began her transit after passing Kiel Locks, at around 1050 UTC on February 13, 2021, according to FleetMon.
It stated: “Tugs responded and took the disabled ship under control, she was either anchored or moored near the accident site. Later she was taken back to Kiel, understood for survey and repairs, berthed at around 1500 UTC. As of 1700 UTC Feb 13, she remained in the same position.”
It added: “The ship is en route from Klaipeda Lithuania to Gibraltar.”
