Nigeria’s power generation has risen to 4,064 megawatts, MW in July, 2022, from less than 3,000MW recorded in June 2022, according to the Nigeria Electricity System Operator.
Investigation by The Daily, www.thedaily-ng.com, showed that this is responsible for the relative improvement in the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity to consumers in some parts of the nation.
It also showed that many parts of the nation still witness instability or complete darkness as the country of over 200 million people needs about 200,000MW to meet demand.
