The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Engr. Sule Abdulaziz has stated that Nigeria needs more infrastructure in power transmission to ease evacuation of stranded power.
Speaking on Wednesday as one of the panelists in the Practical Nigerian Content Forum on the topic “Maximizing Gas as a Catalyst for Industrialization”, the TCN MD represented by Dr. Inugonum Thomas, General Manager, Port Harcourt Transmission Region noted that Nigeria needs to develop power infrastructure with new investment in the area.

The session which discussed end-to-end solution for reliable and sustainable power for the nation was moderated by Iroghama Ogbeifun, MD/CEO Starzs Investment Company Limited.
Also speaking, the Managing Director, Frazimex Engineering Limited (Oilserv group), Engr. Chuka Eze stated that the NCDMB’s NOGaPS has reduced unit production cost and stimulated local manufacturing and industrialization.
