General cargo ship fire, Yalova Turkey, has caught fire in Yalova, Turkey, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “General cargo ship fire, Yalova Turkey. Fire erupted in the engine room of the general cargo ship SIYA on Jun 12 at Yalova, Turkey, Marmara sea.

“Fire was extinguished by joint efforts of SAR ship, tugs and firefighting engines. The ship is docked in shipyard (Sefine Shipyard probably), she’s under repairs since Jan 2022 and therefore, in ballast.”
