A fishing vessel IRIS S has suffered an attack at around 1930 UTC May 31, 2021, 145 nm SE of Tema, Ghana, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “Fishing vessel IRIS S was reportedly attacked at around 1930 UTC May 31 145 nm SE of Tema, Ghana, while under way.

“Five crew were kidnapped, including according to Dryad, 4 Koreans and 1 Filipino. IRIS S resumed sailing shortly after attack, berthed at Tema in the morning June 1, 2021.”
