General cargo ship BUNGO PRINCESS collided with a fishing vessel north of Keelung, Taiwan, shortly after 1500 LT on November 12, 2022, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “The fishing vessel was cut in two, literally, and sank. 7 fishermen on board were rescued. BUNGO PRINCESS left keeling bound for Kaohsiung, but after the collision, she returned to Keelung for investigation.

“The collision occurred in dense fog, so the fishing vessel is mainly, guilty of the collision.”
