Two people have died in cargo tank of FPSO ESPOIR IVOIRIEN on Jan 14, 2021 in an accident, offshore Ivory Coast, according to FleetMon.
It stated: “Two people died in cargo tank of FPSO ESPOIR IVOIRIEN on Jan 14, 2021 in an accident, caused by sudden oil ingress into the tank, where works were carried out. FPSO is positioned off Ivory Coast, operating on Espoir field.”
It added: “No other injures or damages were reported, production was shut down, investigation under way.”
