MARITIME ACCIDENT: How Fishing vessel catches fire off Vladivostok, 30 crew rescued
The fire erupted in the fish processing shop on board of fishing vessel VITIM in the morning March 6, 2021, in Japan sea some 12 nm SW of Askold island, south of Vladivostok, Primorye, Russia, according to FleetMon.
It stated: “SAR tugs responded, by 0300 UTC Mar 6 all 30 crew of VITIM were evacuated, no injures reported. Firefighting is going on.”
