Container ship ASTRID L has encountered an engine cooling issue in the Ionian Sea in the afternoon of September 12, according to FleetMon.

It stated; “Container ship ASTRID L encountered engine the cooling issue in the Ionian Sea in the afternoon Sep 12, and had to anchor in Greek waters north of Corfu, to rectify the cooling system.”

It added: “As of 1330 UTC Sep 13, she remained in the same position. The ship is en route from Haifa Israel to Koper Slovenia, ETA September 14, 2021.”
