DPR promises to establish new Modular refineries in Nigeria

The Department of Petroleum Resources, DPR, has promised to grant approvals for the establishment of new Modular refineries in Nigeria.
The Director/CEO, DPR, Engr. Sarki Auwalu, who led members of the top management of the Department on a working visit to the Niger Delta Petroleum Resources, NDPR, disclosed this on February 19, 2021.
According to him, the visit was in line with the Director/CEO’s strategic initiative to engage stakeholders and investors in the oil and gas industry for the creation of value, cost efficiency, and safety.
In his welcoming remarks, the Managing Director/CEO, NDPR, Dr. Lai Fatona, who led the team on a guided tour to the producing field and Integrated production facilities (Oil production facilities, Gas production facilities, Proposed gas plant expansion project, Ogbele refined products – Storage and Automated loading facilities), also the team about plans for expansion.
However, the Director also assured that DPR will continue to provide support and appropriate regulatory oversight to enhance businesses and create opportunities for investors.
